Here we spent the time to discuss on the actual day of ABA day. Our first action was to appoint George as out our leader for the project. After that we made a mind map to place our ideas. Most of our discussions went well and most agreed with what we ended up with deciding. This may be because we had already did something similar to anti-bullying so it was easy for us to plan something similar. We ended up deciding on doing a mural where all secondary classes will join and paint on for the day. The brainstorm really helped us map out our ideas and led us to making a good decision for the final day.

This day we decided to design our posters and have some extra planning. For the poster we wanted it to be popping and able to grab the attention of the bystanders. Some parts of the poster we decided were needed included the slogan "Spread Love" and drawings of hands or fists which should represent bullying. Additionally we also planned on what the mural should look like, we decided that the mural should be based on our yearbook as it already correlates to our campaign and CAS project. The mural would have people plotted on the mural with their individual backgrounds, showing ]how everyone has their own background in life and should be special for every individual. For the planning we delegated us to different groups which will tackle different planning aspects of ABA day. Since during this time we had exams and needed to study we had difficulties in managing our time.

On the 23rd Matthew, who is in charge of the final creation of the flyers, created a digital flyer for ABA day. The flyer is then printed in large quantities to be distributed to the students at school and posted around the perimeter. Our class was divided by groups to effectively distribute the flyers and paste the posters around our school. This was pretty fun to do and we were able to work very well collaboratively.

Since we were running low in time to prepare for ABA day we went to school at Saturday. There we started drawing the sketches for our mural and appointing each spaces their own color. we also bought some supplies like paint and paint brushes to be used on the day. though we were quite lazy at first we were able to finished it in the end and we were satisfied on how it looks.
28 May 2018
On the day of ABA day we had to cut the event into a half day event since we did not have enough time to enact the in-class activities and lead us doing only the all class mural. this was because there were problems with the timing as most of the classes were needed for year end production practice and graduation practice. However the mural went well and we were able to let most of the classes to paint on the mural. though year 11 could not join due to exams year 4-10 were still able to join in the painting. We were very proud for the end product and looked much better than expected, despite this we should improve in our time management and planning in the future.
Final reflection
The whole ABA day preparation and the actual day thought me alot about our school and learnt alot though out the process. Due to many things needed to be cut down such as the event and some of the classes I learnt the importance for a good time management and should have a better planned out management in future projects.
However we were very proud on what we had created and we are glad that we were able to leave a mark of our accomplishment in not only the mural but also in bringing the whole school to work on a common goal, bringing everyone every so closer.
